Why Bruce Wheeler is running for State Representative in LD 28

I am running for an open seat in the State House of Representatives in Legislative District 28 because I care deeply about our state and firmly believe that the fight for quality public education and job growth are the most important issues facing Arizonans today.

I am running because I have the experience and leadership qualities to fight the slash-and-burn tactics of the extremists in the Republican controlled legislature and the subsequent damage being inflicted on our schools, our economy and our children’s services.  The budget is a mess, reflecting the wrong choice of priorities, giving a plethora of inordinate tax break gifts to special corporate interests paid for at the expense of the vast majority of hard-working families.

I am running because I share the anxiety of many of you and believe I can best represent you in the State House by working with you to strengthen and secure our future.

I am running because, with your help, I am determined to do much better for Arizona, my home for forty-one years, where my sons were born and raised. I want to leave them and you a better place to call “Home”.
